Josepha de Óbidos

Josepha (reads Josefa) was born in Seville, and was one of the most productive baroque artists having created over 150 pieces in her lifetime. She loved to paint religious icons, fishing and hunting scenes, fruits, loafs of bread and cakes, flowers, weave baskets, as well as many other still life motifs that were part of her 17th-century daily life.
